01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Trash Relics website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this website. If you are accessing the site on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
02 The Archive (Intellectual Property)
All content on the Trash Relics website, including text, images, artwork, logos, branding, rarity documentation, and design, is the intellectual property of Trash Relics unless otherwise stated.
Relic NFTs
If you own a Trash Relics NFT, you are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to display the artwork for personal use. This license does not include:
- Commercial reproduction or sale of the artwork as standalone content.
- Modification, derivative works, or creation of new content from the artwork.
- Use of the Trash Relics name, logo, or branding for commercial purposes.
No ownership of the underlying copyright or intellectual property is transferred through NFT ownership.
03 User Conduct
You agree not to use the Trash Relics website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Harassment, threats, or abuse toward other community members or the project team.
- Attempting to manipulate, exploit, or interfere with the website, smart contracts, rarity scores, or metadata.
- Impersonating Trash Relics or its representatives.
- Using the site to distribute malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content.
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the website or related community channels for violations of these terms.
04 NFT Ownership & Risks
What You Own
Trash Relics NFTs are digital art collectibles recorded on the blockchain. Each NFT represents a unique relic within the Trash Relics archive.
What You Acknowledge
- Art-first project. NFTs are not shares, securities, or financial instruments. Nothing on this website is financial advice or a promise of future value.
- No guaranteed profit. The value of NFTs is subjective and volatile. There is no guarantee of profit, return, or liquidity.
- Irreversible transactions. Blockchain transactions, including minting and purchasing, are irreversible once confirmed.
- Wallet responsibility. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, seed phrase, and private keys. Trash Relics cannot recover lost funds or NFTs.
- Smart contract risks. Smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unforeseen behavior despite reasonable care.
- Regulatory uncertainty. The legal status of NFTs and blockchain technology continues to evolve and may affect your ownership or ability to transact.
05 TRC & Environmental Allocation
TRC is a weighted distribution mechanism within the Trash Relics system.
- TRC is not a currency, security, investment, or promise of financial reward.
- TRC distribution mechanics are determined by the project structure and may be adjusted as the project evolves.
The environmental allocation (8% of the system) is a structural commitment to supporting ecological initiatives. It is a project commitment. It does not guarantee a specific real-world outcome.
06 Third-Party Links & Services
The Trash Relics website may contain links to third-party services, including NFT marketplaces (such as OpenSea), social media platforms (Instagram, X), and wallet providers.
- These third-party services are independent of Trash Relics.
- We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of any third-party service.
- Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.
07 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Provided as is, as available.
The Trash Relics website and all content are provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- Any content, metadata, or documentation is completely accurate or free of errors.
- The website or smart contracts are immune to bugs, attacks, or vulnerabilities.
