Privacy Policy
How Trash Relics collects, uses, and protects your data — and why on-chain records are public and immutable by design.
01 Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the Trash Relics website and provide project updates:
- Email address — if you voluntarily sign up for updates or communications.
- Public wallet address — if you connect a wallet for allowlist or mint-related purposes. This is on-chain data that is publicly visible by design.
- Basic analytics data — anonymous page views, browser type, and general geographic region, used to improve the website.
- Social / community username — if you participate in community channels, your public username may be visible to other members.
We do not collect or store seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or recovery phrases. We will never ask for this information.
02 How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used only for:
- Providing updates about the Trash Relics project.
- Managing allowlist access if applicable.
- Improving the website and user experience.
- Community moderation and support.
- Fraud prevention and security monitoring.
We do not use your data for profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose beyond what is described here.
03 Blockchain Data
Trash Relics is built on blockchain technology. By its nature, blockchain data is public and immutable.
- Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and NFT ownership records stored on-chain are publicly visible by design.
- We cannot delete, modify, or reverse on-chain data.
- This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology and applies to all interactions with the Trash Relics collection.
If you connect your wallet to any Trash Relics website or smart contract, your public wallet address becomes part of the on-chain record.
04 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers solely for the operation of the website and project:
- Hosting providers — to serve the website.
- Analytics providers — to understand site usage (anonymized).
- Email service providers — to send updates if you have opted in.
- Blockchain networks — wallet connection and transaction data are public by design.
These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
05 Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data where possible.
- Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data.
- Portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
Important limitation: On-chain blockchain data (wallet addresses, transaction records, NFT metadata) cannot be deleted or modified due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology. This applies to all blockchain-based projects.
To exercise your rights, contact us through the official Trash Relics channels.
06 Cookies
The Trash Relics website may use essential cookies for basic functionality. Analytics tools may use cookies to collect anonymized usage data.
You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality.
07 Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no online service is completely secure. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your wallet seed phrase and private keys secure.
- Never sharing sensitive wallet information with anyone.
- Using only official Trash Relics links and channels.
Trash Relics will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, password, recovery phrase, or wallet login.
